My Friend Tried to Sound Smart During a Family Dinner
At dinner, my friend suddenly said,
“Did you know that humans eat more bananas than monkeys?”
Everyone looked impressed.
“Really?” I asked.
“Absolutely.”
My little cousin frowned.
“But monkeys eat bananas all the time.”
My friend nodded confidently.
“Exactly.”
“So how can humans eat more?”
He paused.
Then said,
“Because there are more humans.”
Everyone went silent.
My uncle laughed.
“That’s actually a good point.”
My cousin wasn’t convinced.
“But monkeys are better at eating them.”
My friend smiled.
“That’s why I don’t compete with monkeys.”
