At a fancy restaurant, a waiter placed a huge steak in front of a man.
“Enjoy, sir.”
The man looked at it.
“I didn’t order this.”
The waiter checked his notepad.
“Table 12?”
“No. Table 21.”
The waiter froze.
“That’s the $90 steak.”
The man looked at the steak.
“Well…”
He picked up his fork.
“I don’t want to cause a scene.”
The waiter quickly grabbed the plate.
“I’m sorry, sir.”
The man pulled it closer.
“Wait.”
“Yes?”
“I’ve already emotionally committed to this steak.”
The waiter laughed.
“Sir, it’s going to another table.”
The man sighed.
“Fine.”
Then he looked at the steak one last time.
“Tell the other customer I said goodbye.”
