A barber finished a customer’s haircut and proudly spun the chair around.
“How does it look?”
The customer studied himself in the mirror.
“Interesting.”
The barber laughed. “Interesting? That’s a polite way of saying you hate it.”
The customer smiled.
“No, I love it.”
The barber looked relieved.
“Really?”
“Yes. I haven’t looked this ridiculous since I was born.”
The barber went silent.
Another customer in the shop whispered:
“That’s going to hurt more than the haircut.”
