The Baby Monitor Became the Most Honest Member of the Family
At 2 a.m., Sarah heard her baby crying and immediately checked the baby monitor.
Her husband was already standing beside the crib.
“Why is he crying?” she whispered.
“I don’t know.”
The baby stopped crying.
Both parents relaxed.
Then the monitor picked up a tiny voice.
“Okay… they’re gone.”
Sarah froze.
Her husband stared at her.
The baby continued:
“Now I can sleep.”
Sarah slowly turned toward her husband.
“Did our baby just wait for us to leave?”
He nodded.
“I think we have a roommate who doesn’t pay rent.”
😂 Moral: Babies may not speak much, but apparently they have excellent negotiation skills.
