The Taxi Driver Had the Most Honest GPS in the City.
A taxi driver picked up a businessman who was already late for an important meeting.
“Airport!” the businessman shouted. “And please hurry!”
The driver nodded and started driving.
After a few minutes, the GPS announced:
“Continue straight for two miles.”
The driver continued.
“Turn left in 500 feet.”
He turned left.
“Recalculating.”
The driver frowned.
The GPS continued:
“Make a U-turn when possible.”
The businessman looked at the driver.
“Is your GPS broken?”
“No,” said the driver. “It’s just dramatic.”
They drove another minute.
The GPS suddenly said:
“You have arrived at your destination.”
The businessman looked outside.
They were standing in front of a bakery.
“This isn’t the airport!”
The driver stared at the GPS.
The GPS calmly replied:
“Correct.”
The businessman shouted, “Then why did you bring us here?”
The GPS answered:
“Because you said you were late, and I know a place that sells breakfast.”
The driver looked at the businessman.
“Honestly, I think the machine understands you better than I do.”
😂 Moral: Never argue with GPS. It may know your priorities better than you do.
