The Archaeologist Found a Mysterious Ancient Door
An archaeologist was exploring an ancient underground chamber when he discovered a huge stone door.
His assistant became excited.
“Do you think there could be treasure behind it?”
“Possibly,” said the archaeologist.
They spent hours carefully clearing the stones around the entrance.
Finally, they pushed the giant door open.
Everyone stared inside.
There was nothing.
No gold.
No jewels.
No ancient weapons.
Just a small wooden chair sitting in the middle of the room.
The assistant looked disappointed.
“That’s it?”
The archaeologist walked over to the chair.
He examined it carefully.
“This chair could be thousands of years old.”
The assistant sighed.
“So ancient people had chairs.”
“Apparently.”
He looked underneath it.
Then he suddenly froze.
“What?”
“I found something.”
The assistant rushed over.
“What is it?”
The archaeologist held up a tiny piece of paper.
“What does it say?”
He unfolded it.
There were only three words:
“Assembly required.”
The assistant stared at him.
“So the ancient civilization didn’t disappear…”
The archaeologist nodded.
“They gave up building furniture.”
