The Waitress Couldn’t Believe What the Customer Ordered
A customer sat down at a restaurant.
The waitress smiled.
“Can I get you something to drink?”
“Water.”
“Still or sparkling?”
He thought carefully.
“Surprise me.”
She brought sparkling water.
He took one sip and frowned.
“This water is angry.”
The waitress blinked.
“Angry?”
“It keeps attacking my tongue.”
She tried not to laugh.
“It’s sparkling water.”
“I know. Why is it sparkling?”
“Because it’s carbonated.”
He pushed the glass away.
“Can I get normal water?”
She brought him still water.
He took a sip.
“Much better.”
She smiled.
“Anything else?”
He pointed at the sparkling water.
“Yes.”
“What?”
“Tell the angry one we’re no longer friends.”
