The Museum Guard Had Finally Had Enough
A man walked into a museum and accidentally bumped into a statue.
The museum guard rushed over.
“Sir! Please be careful!”
The man looked at the statue.
“Don’t worry. It’s fine.”
The guard stared at him.
“Sir, that’s a 300-year-old statue.”
The man nodded.
“Exactly. It’s survived 300 years. I think it’ll survive me.”
The guard sighed.
“Please don’t touch anything.”
The man put his hands in his pockets.
“Understood.”
He walked three steps.
Then stopped.
“Excuse me.”
“What?”
“Can I touch the dinosaur?”
The guard looked exhausted.
“Why?”
“Because technically, it’s already extinct.”
The guard stared at him for a moment.
“Please leave.”
The man smiled.
“Fair enough. I was going to ask about the mummy next.”
😂 Moral: Museums are full of ancient things, but apparently common sense isn’t one of them.
