The Astronomer Found Something Strange in the Night Sky
An astronomer was staring through his giant telescope.
His assistant rushed over.
“Did you find something?”
“Yes.”
“A new planet?”
“No.”
“A comet?”
“No.”
“Then what?”
The astronomer pointed at the sky.
“Someone’s porch light.”
The assistant looked confused.
“That’s impossible. We’re looking through a powerful telescope.”
“I know.”
“So why is a porch light interesting?”
The astronomer sighed.
“Because it’s moving.”
They watched it carefully.
The light moved across the sky.
The assistant gasped.
“An unidentified flying object!”
The astronomer grabbed the telescope.
“No.”
“What is it?”
He looked again.
“It’s a drone.”
The assistant sighed.
“All that equipment…”
The astronomer nodded.
“Twenty years of studying space…”
“And?”
“We finally discovered someone’s backyard.”
