My little cousin walked into the room wearing a cape.
“Watch this magic trick!”
He covered a cookie with a napkin.
“One… two… three!”
He lifted the napkin.
The cookie was gone.
“Wow!” I said. “Where did it go?”
He smiled with his mouth full.
“It’s… magic.”
Just then his mom walked in.
“Did you eat the last cookie?”
He pointed at the empty napkin.
“Nope.”
“It disappeared.”
His mom laughed.
“I can still see the chocolate on your face.”
He sighed.
“I really need to practice.”
