The Pirate Went to the Eye Doctor for a Very Strange Reason
A pirate walked into an eye doctor’s office.
The doctor looked at him.
“What’s the problem?”
“I can’t see properly.”
The doctor checked his eyes.
“Read the bottom line.”
The pirate squinted.
“I can’t.”
“Try again.”
“I still can’t.”
The doctor sighed.
“How long has this been happening?”
“Arrrr… about six months.”
“Do you wear glasses?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
The pirate pointed at his face.
“Because I don’t want people thinking I’m a nerd.”
The doctor stared at him.
“You’re a pirate.”
“Exactly.”
“Why would glasses bother you?”
The pirate thought about it.
“Good point.”
The doctor handed him a pair.
The pirate put them on.
“Wow!”
“What?”
“I can finally see the treasure map!”
The doctor smiled.
“You’ve had the map this whole time?”
The pirate nodded.
“Yes.”
“Where was it?”
He pointed at his forehead.
“I’ve been wearing it as a hat.”
😂 Moral: Sometimes the treasure isn’t lost—you just can’t see what you’re doing.
