The Chef Banned One Customer From Ordering Dessert
A customer finished his dinner and called the chef over.
“That was delicious!”
The chef smiled.
“Thank you.”
“I’d like dessert.”
“Of course.”
“What do you recommend?”
“Our chocolate cake.”
“How big is it?”
The chef held up his hands.
“About this big.”
The customer nodded.
“Perfect. I’ll take two.”
The chef smiled.
“Two slices?”
“No.”
“Two cakes?”
“Yes.”
The chef looked surprised.
“Are you having a party?”
“No.”
“Then why two?”
The customer whispered,
“One is for me.”
“And the other?”
The customer looked around.
“Also for me.”
The chef laughed.
“That’s a lot of cake.”
The customer nodded.
“I’ve had a difficult week.”
The chef smiled.
“Fair enough.”
Then the customer added,
“Actually, make it three.”
“Three?!”
“Yes.”
“What happened?”
“My week just got worse.”
😂 Moral: Sometimes dessert isn’t food. It’s emotional support with frosting.
