The Waiter Asked If I Wanted Anything Else
After a terrible morning, I went to a restaurant.
The waiter smiled.
“Would you like anything else?”
I sighed.
“Yes… some good luck.”
He nodded seriously.
“I’ll check.”
A minute later he returned with an empty plate.
“Here you go.”
“There’s nothing on it.”
He smiled.
“Our good luck shipment hasn’t arrived yet.”
Everyone nearby laughed.
When the bill arrived, it had a note:
One Free Smile — Already Served.
I couldn’t stop laughing.
Honestly, it was the best thing I ordered all day.
