The Museum Guide Found a Visitor Staring at One Painting
A museum guide noticed a man staring at the same painting for ten minutes.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?”
The man nodded.
“Very.”
“What do you like about it?”
“The frame.”
The guide blinked.
“The frame?”
“Yes.”
“Not the painting?”
The man shook his head.
“I don’t understand modern art.”
The guide smiled.
“Then why have you been staring at it for ten minutes?”
The man pointed at the frame.
“I’m trying to figure out how they got the painting inside it.”
The guide stared at him.
“You know they painted it after putting the frame on?”
The man looked shocked.
“So the frame is permanent?”
“Yes.”
He nodded thoughtfully.
“That’s actually impressive.”
😂 Moral: Sometimes the art isn’t confusing—the person looking at it is.
