My Dad Said He Could Assemble the New Chair Without Instructions

Dad opened the box and confidently said,

“Instructions are for people who don’t know what they’re doing.”

Twenty minutes later, he was staring at 14 screws and a chair with only three legs.

Mom asked, “Everything okay?”

Dad nodded.

“Perfect.”

“Then why is the chair missing a leg?”

He looked at it carefully.

“That’s not a leg.”

“What is it?”

He sighed.

“Apparently, it’s important.”

Mom started laughing.

Dad picked up the instructions.

“Fine. I’ll just see what the manufacturer thinks they’re doing.”

😂 Moral: Confidence is useful until the furniture starts looking suspicious.
