“Why are you taking pictures of everything?”

His friend nodded.
“That’s beautiful.”

“Where’s your family?”

“What family?”
“The people you were having dinner with.”
The photographer checked his camera.
“Oh.”
“They’re not in any pictures.”
“Why?”
He sighed.
“They kept getting in the way of my memories.”
