The Magician Tried His Most Dangerous Trick at Dinner
A magician was having dinner with several friends when he suddenly announced:
“Tonight, I’m going to perform my most dangerous trick.”
Everyone stopped eating.
His wife looked worried.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?”
“Absolutely.”
He stood up dramatically.
“I will make this entire plate of spaghetti disappear!”
Everyone applauded.
He lifted the plate, closed his eyes, waved his hands over it, and shouted:
“ABRACADABRA!”
Then he opened his eyes.
The spaghetti was still there.
He looked confused.
He tried again.
“MAGICUS MAXIMUS!”
Nothing happened.
His friends started laughing.
The magician became increasingly desperate.
He waved his hands faster.
He spun around.
He snapped his fingers.
Still nothing.
Finally, his 6-year-old daughter walked over, picked up the plate, and carried it into the kitchen.
The magician stared at her.
“Where are you going?”
“To help you.”
She returned thirty seconds later with an empty plate.
The magician gasped.
“HOW DID YOU DO THAT?”
She shrugged.
“I ate it.”
The magician looked at his audience.
Everyone was silent.
He slowly bowed.
“Ladies and gentlemen…”
He pointed at his daughter.
“…my greatest rival.”
😂 Moral: Never challenge someone who has access to the kitchen.
