The Professor Asked the Class a Very Easy Question

The professor stood at the front of the classroom.

“Who can tell me what causes lightning?”

Nobody answered.

He repeated,

“Come on. This is basic science.”

One student slowly raised his hand.

“Yes?”

“Electricity.”

“Correct!”

The professor smiled.

“Very good. And what causes thunder?”

The same student raised his hand.

“More electricity?”

The professor sighed.

“No. That’s not correct.”

The student nodded.

“Okay.”

The professor continued teaching.

Five minutes later, the student raised his hand again.

“Professor?”

“Yes?”

“Then what causes the electricity?”

The professor smiled.

“Excellent question.”

The student leaned back.

“So we’re all confused.”

😂 Moral: One question can turn a classroom full of experts into a group project.
