The Man at the Hotel Complained That His Room Was Too Quiet
A man called the hotel front desk at midnight.
“There’s something wrong with my room.”
The receptionist asked,
“What’s the problem, sir?”
“It’s too quiet.”
She paused.
“Too quiet?”
“Yes. I can’t sleep.”
“Would you like us to send someone up?”
“Absolutely.”
A few minutes later, a hotel employee knocked on the door.
“How can we help?”
The man whispered,
“Listen.”
They stood completely still.
Nothing.
The employee smiled.
“Everything seems fine.”
The man shook his head.
“Exactly!”
“What?”
“That’s what’s bothering me.”
The employee looked confused.
“Sir, what do you want us to do?”
The man pointed at the hallway.
“Could you send me a room where somebody is arguing?”
😂 Moral: Some people don’t need peace and quiet—they need evidence that other people are suffering too.
