My Dad Tried to Save Money by Cutting His Own Hair
Dad came into the bathroom holding hair clippers.
Mom asked,
“What are you doing?”
“Saving money.”
“How?”
“I’m cutting my own hair.”
Mom stared at him.
“Do you know how?”
Dad smiled.
“I watched a tutorial.”
Twenty minutes later, Dad walked out.
Mom looked at him.
“Wow.”
Dad smiled proudly.
“Looks good, right?”
Mom slowly nodded.
“From the front.”
Dad’s smile disappeared.
“What does that mean?”
“Turn around.”
He turned.
Mom burst out laughing.
There was a perfectly shaved square on the back of his head.
Dad ran to the mirror.
“Oh no!”
I laughed.
“Why does it look like someone landed a helicopter on your head?”
Dad grabbed a hat.
“I’m never doing this again.”
Mom smiled.
“Good.”
Dad nodded.
“Next time, I’ll save money by going bald.”
