My Friend Bought a Talking Parrot and Immediately Regretted It
My friend bought a parrot that could talk.
He was incredibly proud.
“Watch this.”
He pointed at the bird.
“Say hello.”
The parrot stared at him.
Nothing.
My friend tried again.
“Say hello.”
Still nothing.
He looked embarrassed.
“It’s probably shy.”
I laughed.
“Maybe give it some time.”
The next morning he called me.
“You need to come over.”
“Why?”
“The parrot won’t stop talking.”
I went to his house.
The bird immediately shouted,
“HE’S CHEAP!”
My friend froze.
I laughed.
“What did you teach it?”
“Nothing!”
The parrot shouted,
“HE NEVER BUYS SNACKS!”
My friend looked at me.
“Okay… maybe it heard me arguing with the shopkeeper.”
Then the parrot shouted,
“HE SAID THE PRICE WAS RIDICULOUS!”
I couldn’t breathe from laughing.
My friend pointed at the bird.
“You’re going back to the pet shop.”
The parrot immediately replied,
“GOOD! I DON’T LIKE HIM EITHER!”
My friend stared at me.
“I think the bird has chosen sides.”
😂 Moral: Be careful what you say around a parrot. It remembers everything—and has no loyalty.
