At a restaurant, a waiter noticed a man staring angrily at his steak.
“Is everything okay?”
The man pointed at it.
“This steak is tough.”
The waiter apologized.
“I’ll get you another one.”

“No.”
“Would you like something else?”
“No.”
“Then what can I do?”
The man leaned toward the steak.
“Tell it I’m disappointed.”
The waiter blinked.
“Sir?”
“I paid good money for this. It needs to know.”
The waiter looked at the steak.
Then at the customer.
“Would you like me to apologize on its behalf?”
The man thought about it.
“Yes.”
The waiter nodded seriously.
“I’m sorry.”
The man smiled.
“Good.”
He picked up his fork.
“Now we can move forward.”
