The Psychic Walked Into a Door
A psychic walked confidently into a café.
She told the waiter,
“I already know what you’re going to say.”
The waiter smiled.
“Really?”
“Yes.”
“What am I going to say?”
She closed her eyes dramatically.
“You’ll ask me what I want to order.”
The waiter nodded.
“Correct.”
She smiled proudly.
“See?”
Then she turned around to sit down.
BANG!
She walked directly into a glass door.
The entire café went silent.
The waiter tried not to laugh.
The psychic rubbed her forehead.
“I knew that was going to happen.”
The waiter raised an eyebrow.
“Then why didn’t you move?”
She paused.
“I didn’t say I knew when.”
The waiter laughed.
“That’s convenient.”
She pointed at him.
“Don’t question my powers.”
He nodded.
“Of course.”
She sat down.
Then immediately walked into the same door again.
