My Mom Asked Me to Call the Plumber, So I Pretended to Be One

Mom shouted from the kitchen,

“The sink is leaking! Call the plumber!”

I said, “I’ll fix it.”

She looked surprised.

“You know how?”

“Of course.”

I watched one five-minute tutorial and walked into the kitchen like a professional.

I picked up a wrench.

“Everyone stay calm.”

Mom asked, “What are you doing?”

“Diagnosing the problem.”

I turned the pipe.

Nothing happened.

I turned it again.

Suddenly, water sprayed everywhere.

Mom screamed,

“TURN IT BACK!”

I shouted,

“I’M TRYING!”

The kitchen floor was completely flooded.

Dad walked in, looked at me, and asked,

“What happened?”

I proudly said,

“I found the leak.”

Dad looked around.

“The whole kitchen is leaking now.”

I nodded.

“Exactly. Now we know where it isn’t.”

Mom grabbed her phone.

“I’m calling the plumber.”

I put the wrench down.

“Good idea.”

Dad asked,

“Why didn’t you call him in the first place?”

I said,

“Because I wanted to give him a bigger job.”

😂 Moral: Watching one tutorial doesn’t make you an expert—it just makes you dangerous with a wrench.
